The Royal Regency Hotel celebrated its Grand Re-Opening on Thursday, October 22, 2015.  The celebration unveiled the Hotel’s latest renovations and brand transformation.  The Royal Regency Hotel broke ground on the major multi-million dollar renovation project in early 2014, transforming the hotel into Westchester’s first, and only, boutique hotel. The Royal Regency Hotel is perfect for traveling guests, business meetings and events, holiday parties, weddings, non-profit galas and social parties.

“We are thrilled to showcase our beautiful renovations to the public. My family has owned the Hotel since 1994, and we are very excited to see the new design renderings come to life,” said Maria Pampafikos, Co-Owner and Vice President of the Royal Regency Hotel. “We are committed to transforming our hotel while continuously providing our guests with excellent customer service and an enhanced guest experience throughout their stay with us.”

Virserius Studio <http://virseriusstudio.com/>  completely redesigned the Hotel’s 88 standard guest rooms, five luxury suites, lobby and reception areas, its Crystal ballroom, and meetings and event spaces to feel fresh and modern. The New York and Paris-based hospitality design firm has successfully repositioned properties for Hyatt, Hilton, and Starwood.  They have worked on notable projects such as the MGM City Center in Las Vegas, and are currently working on hospitality projects throughout the U.S., Europe, Africa and Malaysia.

The Royal Regency Hotel’s renovations were also complemented by a reimagined brand, including a new logo, website, and marketing materials.  Everything now features the rich deep purple colored pantone palette that coincides with the new look and feel of the Hotel itself.  The new branding was created by Studio Tano, a New York-based consultancy whose notable projects include Brooklyn House in Bushwick and The Watergate Hotel in Washington, DC.

“The complete transformation of the Royal Regency Hotel is a perfect example of the Yonkers revitalization movement,” said Yonkers Mayor Mike Spano. “Yonkers is back, and countless businesses, such as the Royal Regency Hotel, are making major investments that are helping the city to flourish.”

“The newly redesigned Royal Regency Hotel provides a great venue option for those living in Westchester County and for our visitors as well.  Major renovation projects such as this help to strengthen and enrich our community, while also promoting more tourism to our region,” said Westchester County Executive Robert P. Astorino.
